VACATIONS ALL I EVER WANTED!!!!!...

Hey all yes vacation is all i ever wanted and i got it lol I'm blogging from Myrtle Beach, SC. we are here for our annual family vacation we have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 13 years straight I'm 14 so that means that i was 1 when i first went....

so far we have gone to the Ralph Lauren Polo Outlet and i got this t shirt that is the same colors as my new high school colors lol can you say SCHOOL SPIRIT. we also went bowling and there i was not really on my usual A game i was more F game but trust me my bros will lose today hahahaha well i gotta go i will blog more later but i gotta enjoy my vacation lol......comment plz :o)

GUESS WHOS BAAAAACK.....

Its meeeeee. i went to the Navy Volleyball Camp and got back a week ago it was very tough and i was waaaay to sore to even try and get my butt to the computer and log onto blogger but I'm here now not really sore anymore and excited to get back to blogging i missed it soooooooo much.

So let me tell you about camp, first of all the dreaded stairs from hell. we had to climb 3 flights of stairs just to get to my dorm ( my friend had to climb 4 flights hehehe ) then when i got there my two roommates ( my friends Katelyn and her little sister Shelby) picked the best beds and i got the one that was very uncomfortable and had little head resting area then comes dinner, the first 2 days the meals were freaking amazingly good but once the 3rd day came the food started tasting and smelling like pure nastiness.

But anyways, after that we have session 1: the basics of volleyball bumping and setting one of the worse sessions of the week. My coach Cynnamon aka "candy" ( we played picnic to learn each others name so mine is Tiffany aka "taco" ) and my other coach Lindsey aka "lettuce" told us to get in defensive position so i did thinking we were gonna bump volleyballs since we were the "experienced group" meaning we have played before on a team or summer league. and i was waaaaay wrong. they made us stand in defensive position: butt down, back straight, knees bent, down low hands off knees and arms extended out now my thighs are on FIRE and they make us hold this for 5 mins then comes setting they make us hold setting position for another 5 mins now my arms are on FIRE so then finally comes some actual ball action we get to bump and set with a partner also known as peppering but even then the fun part they just HAD to make it a little tough. the made us bump and set the ball 100 times to each other and that may sound easy which it is but the added to it for us to stay in defensive position and if our form wasn't good but our bump is they would count it and would deduct a point and every time you dropped it you had to start over which was very evil. then after my session. my legs are still on fire and i have to climb those three flights of stairs and sleep on an uncomfortable bed having to wake up at 5:30 in the morning and do it all over again well isn't that just dandy :o) NOT :o( But there was some fun like when me and my buddies sneaked onto the elevator and only got caught once and the second fun part was LEAVING thank God, Jesus the Holy Spirit and all the angels in heaven i was leaving YES YES YES I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy to be home at last.

Yesterday the king of pop Michael Jackson died after suffering cardiac arrest he was 50. this is a sad loss and he will neva be 4gotten

My Business Idea...

So i took some sewing classes earlier in the year in february for about 3 weeks at my local Hancock Fabrics store while there i made a pair of pajama pants, and a tote bag with my sewing machine (Pics above) i havent made anything with my sewing machine since then until today June 23 i was sitting in my room bored out of my mind when i saw my sewing machine across the room so i took it downstairs and thought to myself "you should make something today with that machine and all that left over fabric from a few months ago." so i did. But before i get to that i want to tell you where and how i got this thought



The previous night June 22 i went to a church meeting for teen girls called Queens in Training, where they teach us how to be well mannered responsible and classy young women so every time we go there we have a new class so this week it was sewing and the lady tought us how to make pillows and thats how we end up to today when i decided to make a pillow out of the same fabric i used for the pants. the project only took me about 45 mins to an hour and it turned out great as you can see in the pics above.
So after i made the pillow a business idea came to me " make pillows as gifts for people and make matching blankets and pants with it too!!!!" so i need your help out there do you think this is a good idea YES or NO.

I just set up my mobile posting because I'm going away to camp July 1st its a volleyball camp at the naval academy in Annapolis Maryland so ya i don't have a laptop and i don't think they have a computer in the dorm so i set up the MP so that you guys can hear all about my camp and what I'm doing and i hope to see comments when i get back so yup i just wanted to tell you all that i set it up and it is super duper cool and if you travel a lot or you cant post cause your computer is busted definitely try this it rocks<3>

Im Here 4 Good now...

School is over the summer has started and now i will finally be able to blog properly but to balance it out with my summer camps i will only blog once or twice a week. so how is everyone nothing is really new with me except that i have a bad cold and cough and I'm stuck at home but i should be fine soon. i actually should be resting so ttyl :o)

Volleyball Tournament

i just wanted to show you all this pic of me and some of my team relaxing after a wonderful game of volleyball ( we lost the tournament ). this pic is in the middle of the day. our tournaments last for about 10 hours so yep we had a lot of matches.<3>

That Little Thing They Call LOVE<3

Tomorrow is my parents anniversary and so they left for Virginia Beach on Thursday. they are celebrating 23 years of blissful marriage. i am very happy and i cat wait to see them. for the time they are gone I'm at my Nana's house. well first i was at my friend True's house for Thursday and then i came here to my Nana's yesterday.

i love my parents soooooooooo much i miss them too. because I'm homeschooled i spend everyday and almost every second with my mom. we are more like sisters than mother and daughter.

speaking of sisters... i saw my god sister, DeVanae in the mall yesterday i was so happy i hadn't seen her in a year ( since her mom passed away ) i was so excited. we exchanged cell phone numbers and had a nice talk. actually when we were little everyone thought we were real sisters because we dressed alike and did everything together. well that's about all i have to say.

Lesson Learned: dont play volleyball without knee pads : (

So yes i have really learned my lesson and now know not to dive for a volleyball without knee pads. i injured my knee on Saturday at my friend's little sister's volleyball game on an open court that the 18's team had played on. my friend Katelyn had served a hard ball and so it was only in my instinct to dive for that ball. i got the ball but hurt my knee doing it so now i am at home with an Ace bandage around it and just as in pain as i can be now. it has gotten a little better since Saturday but it still hurts to bend it. i went to the doc and she said i will good by Friday or Saturday, i have a tournament Saturday so i sure hope so but for now I'm just here, at home, with nothing to do but schoolwork....bleh. : (

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

If you hadn't noticed i took a pretty long break for 2 reasons:

1. i had another volleyball tournament
2. i had a really busy week last week and couldn't blog ( i missed blogging sooo much)

so ya my last game was great. we came in 2ND place in the gold bracket. we lost to a really good select team. anyways all my serves were like bullets and they were all in except for one that hit the net : ( i was sad about that one. but along with my serves my spikes were even better i was sooooo happy. the pics above are of my team.

i am in the waaaaaaaaaaaay back you cant see me but if you look real close you may catch a small glimpse of my head. LOL. but anywho how is everybody??? i saw that it was Tiffany's bday on Brandon's blog so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIFFANY!!!!

It's Time 4 Some Volleyball!!!!!!!!

duh duh duh duh duh da da duh duh duh duh duh da duh duh duh duh duh da da are ya ready for this!!!!

hahahaaaaaa its time for another volleyball tournament yaaay!!! i think we may have a chance of winning this game, we are playing on our home court at the Capital Clubhouse. and we have soooo much fun there at our games, we joke around and act really stupid and funny. last time we had a game there we took 3 of our team volleyballs and were passing and setting them to each other and broke one of the metal light covers of the light hanging from the ceiling.


never put 12 crazy girls together in a small room because something is bound to be broken somewhere. haha!!! but anyways back to the game, em em. so ya we lost in the playoffs last time we were there by 1 small point missed by a very powerful spike but my friend Kara that hit the back wall.

but we are back stronger than ever and ready to dominate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!

we just got a report on the news that my town is getting 5 to 12 inches of the pretty white stuff...yes SNOW!!!! i am soooooo happy the stores are crazy!!! around here when the word snow is talked about everyone rushes to the store to get prepared its weird.

at first i thought it was a joke but its all to true so now we went to the store got what we needed and are kinda ready all we have to do is wait.

but I'm happy because now i can spend time blogging and texting yaaaaay!!! but the bad part is I'm homeschooled and so we do school at home and when snow comes i still have to do the work. i don't have an advantage when it comes to snow days but at least my family will be home all together we rarely are together and we never just sit down and talk or play a nice board game to have some bonding time we used to do that all the time and i really miss those days but now is a great time to get together and hang out. so ya i guess that's all i have to say for now. OH!!! and i will post pics of our snow once it has all fallen to the ground.

Sick of being sick

I am just getting over some type of sickness that left me vomiting and weak, now i think my family has it... just about 10 mins ago my dad called and said that he was feeling sick and just threw up, my mom same just happened to her 2 mins after my dad called and my bro who has not vomited yet may be next. We have a few reasons why this may be happening...

1. i was sick and may have spread it
2. it could just be food poisoning from the chicken they had
3. something caught at work or something

I'm really scared because i might be the cause of this:( so i am taking responsibility if i am the reason, i will make soup, cook, clean whatever i can to help them if i did this if not i will still help I'm just upset cause i hate to see them this way and I'm now getting better so i feel guilty and i have volleyball tonight and a spelling bee tomorrow and i have no ride because everyone is sick except for one of my brothers maybe i will call him and ask if he can help me he is 20 can drive i may be in luck but if not i will be OK i just have to face the facts that i may have gotten my family sick ugh I'm sooooooooooooo upset but i will figure something out i gotta have faith well i have to go care for my mom and wait for my dad to get here oh i hope everybody is OK...

Volleyball, we lost...

it was a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly close game, we lost 28 to 30 we were playing games of 25 but we kept getting tied. It was the game that would determine if we get into the playoffs for the day but we lost so we just went home...

i knew we could have done waaaaaaaaaaay better if he had put me and the other final game bench warmers in the game, why well because

1. we were not tired



2. we were the only girls practicing in between games



3. we were all taller and could have blocked more balls



4. we were all around pumped and ready to kick some butt

we were all disappointed at the end especially me because i tried really really hard to get the excited out there i was the loudest girl there i wish i could have recorded it so you could hear me i was louder than a girl screaming on a scary horror film!!!!!!!!!!!

but whatever i am going back to practice on Tuesday with confidence, a smile, and a strut in my walk this wont tear me down!!!!!!!!!!!!

i couldn't believe it but it is a real thing i thought my friend Josh was kidding but it was all to real, we were practicing our spelling words for the county spelling bee and he was looking up a German word when he saw it. his twin sister thought he was just being stupid but it was true...ya know this is a great idea for an excuse to get out of going to school hahaha but I'm homeschooled so that wouldn't work, maybe i will use it so i cant go to spelling practice...

so me and my friends always act stupid at volleyball practice so we were coming up with names fro ourselves while we were taking a break so my friend (lets call her K) and my other friends ( lets call them L and KT) came up with these ideas

i hated those so i came up with this name and we all agreed my new silly name is:

hiatus- i will be on polyvore

i saw this on Cheddah's blog and had to check it out so i did and now i am taking a small week long break to do some sets and i am also taking this hiatus for my church; i work with the babies they are so cute but anyways ya i have a link to my polyvore on my fashion blog so ya have a nice day see you in a week. i luv y'all<3>

To Grandmothers House I Go...

For the whole weekend i wont be blogging i wonder how i can stay away? my Nana has slow Internet and i love to blog...what to do, what to do? well on the bright side i get to spend time with my Nana...she is 66 years old but looks nothing like it (she could pass for 55) i love my Nana i never get to spend time with her because I'm so busy with volleyball and school, i will definitely cherish this weekend with her and my grandfather.she told me that we might go shopping with my cousin!!! she is 19 and so much fun, we have to ask her or my grandfather to drive us because well i am only 13 and i cant drive lol... and my Nana cant see clearly because she had a fall back in 2006 and punctured the back of her eye so she cant see but beside the fact its will be great to be there...
oh and did i mention she lives 10 mins from me? :) <3>

volleyball practice PA-LEEZ more like boot camp

its true!!! i mean come on my coach is rough. Here is how our practice(boot camp) goes...

1. we play around and stuff (only fun part of the day)
2. we run 3-4 laps around the court( its a pretty large court)
3. we run to the net, back-peddle to the starting point and do 3 push ups (we do that 5 times)
4. then we do a serve/receive drill for about 20 mins
5. then we have a 1min break (literally)
6. then we do spike, pass, block, serve, and setting drills for like 30-40 mins
7. then we do a small 6 on 6 game ( i play middle front and middle back)
8. then we break for like another 1 min
9. then we do queen of the court which is kinda fun but i don't really enjoy it
10. then we do 10 push ups 40 sit ups talk for like 2 mins then we go home

trust me it may sound easy to some but when you are doing it it is waaaaaaaaaaaay harder. personally my favorite part of practice(boot camp) is hanging with friends, and spiking... i looooooooooooove spiking ahhhhhhh spiking. :)

2day break...

i am taking a small 2day break for 2 reasons:

1. i have a biiiiiiiiig volleyball game on Saturday

YESSSS!!!!! ITS SNOWING!!!!

After 4 loooooong years of patience it is finally snowing we got about 2 or 3 inches and its still falling it is sooooooo pretty and peaceful. Our neighborhood is very quiet there is literally no sound like seriously no sound. So that just makes it even more beautiful i was 10 the last time it snowed in 2005 now I'm about to be 14 AND IT IS FINALLY SNOWING!!! The sad thing is it wont last long and there have already at only 11:15 am been over 35 wrecks so we are praying for my bros and my dad they had to work i am homeschooled so snow days are still school days.....can you sat total bummer...
P.S. house in pic is my neighbors house not mine but mine looks kinda like it lol. <3

Is Texting Considered An Educational Activity???

I think so i mean its fun exciting time consuming and all i am doing right now( besides blogging) Please someone tell me do you think texting is educational because i do i mean you can do everything on there and when you text its like your writing a paper for school but its for your own enjoyment i think schools should replace the pens pencils and paper for cell phones if you have to write a paper for a class why not just text it to your teacher it makes it fun and easy and your teacher could just send you the grade back in a txt like " hey you got an A+" i mean come on this is the future who agrees with me!!!! texting is educational fast easy and fun but that's just simply me( the pic above is of my cell phone...)

I Didn't Know That I Could Spell That Well...YAY!!!

I signed up to be in the National Scripps Spelling Bee and today me and my friends practiced so we had this mini spelling bee and i did sooooo good i spelled words i didn't even know i know some think that spelling bees are for smart snobby braniac geeks but they are really fun and you don't have to be that smart to spell. But it was really dun and it helps you sharpen your ability to do things like read and write. I love to spell words but we have to spell words from different countries like Spain and Europe i especially hate German words they are sooooo hard to spell...i feel like Akeelah from Akeelah an the Bee hahaha well whatever people say about spelling bees i don't care spelling bees are simply me...<3

UGH!!! I Hate These Shorts!!!

Today i have volleyball practice because we have a game next weekend so we got our practice uniforms last week and i love them and all but i can stand the shorts!!! they are spandex and well of course SHORT but they are uncomfortable and they ride up when i run im seriously look at them...(above) would you want to wear super short shorts tight knee pads and itchy socks? But you gotta wear what you gotta wear if your gonna play volleyball...

P.S. if i were to play you you in volleyball guess what...I'M GONNA CRUSH YOU HAHAHA...just kidding...or am i ;)
